Robert Meryhew delivered a letter to the council signed by 22 residents of Peachtree Drive. Meryhew said everytime it rains or someone waters their yards on 5th East, the water runs down 1375 North to 1356 North and across the asphalt, bringing mud and silt with it. He said the residue builds up on the street where the water runs across, making it an attractive place for children to play and causing an icy spot in the winter. City Administrator Kenner Kill- - S. Meryhew said anytime there is water on 5th East, it erodes his neighborhood on Peachtree Drive, We want the water contained in the gutter, but the way the asphalt and gutter are constructed, that doesnt happen now, he said. Killpack told the council that he would get together with Councilman Kenneth Holman who is in charge of the streets department, to look at the situation and decide the best way to resolve it. Killpack said as soon as city crews are through with work on Main Street, they could make in the asphalt on Peachtree Drive. 0 You Really Can i : Voter registration dates have been set for the 1981 elections in South Weber.
