Plain alcohol is included in the box to clean toasters, small appliances and other chrome fixtures. She also uses a half alcohol, half water mixture in a spray bottle to clean windows. Mrs. Muir also uses straight chlorine bleach on a cloth to bring out the whiteness of sinks and tubs. Mrs. Muir feels that it is very important to only use 100 percent cotton cloths for cleaning. JEFFORY AND TIBI MAW clean around faucets and edges, a single edge razor blade to remove tape and other materials from windows, sturdy round toothpicks to dig into cracks and corners and a sponge to kneel By CHERIE HUBER Review Coo respondent CENTERVILLE Eldean Muir of Centerville has been cleaning for families in the South Davis area for almost 20 years. She says it is enjoyable work that has allowed her to meet people and make many friends. She feels the people she has worked for have added depth and richness to her own personal life. Mrs. Muir usually works for those cho can not do their own houseowrk due to physical or emotional handicaps. Basic housecleaning hasnt changed much in the past 20 years but many of the techniques and products that she uses have, she said. Some things are easier. Most homes she works in now have kitchen carpeting that eliminates waxing and scrubbing. Mrs. Muir feels that despite all the products on the market, the only way to really get a linoleum floor clean is to get on your hands and knees and scrub. The newer vacuums are also easier to operate and permanent press has almost eliminated her ironing jobs, she said. At each home she cleans, Mrs. Muir likes to have a cleaning box. In it are a toothbrush to Wendy Hartley. They iUr area "&. JILL Virginia, Kaysville. Maton of honor was ELDEAN MUIR says cleaning glass cor- - - vt Sharald T.
