WHITING Urban Horticultura list USU Extension This summer Utah State University Extension Service will sponsor weekly gardening classes at their Farmington Experiment Farm. The classes will be held on Tuesday evenings featuring topics of display and research of the farm. The yard and garden classes for this month will begin on Tuesday, April 14, at 7 p.m. with the topic This discussion will Spring Flowering Bulbs. feature the new spring flowering bulb display planted at the USU Farm last fall. The display includes over 1,000 bulbs of 80 varieties. Many are in bloom now and the public is invited to view the bulb display at their convenience. On the care of spring flowering bulbs, gardeners are reminded to pick off the flower stocks when blooms fade. However, the green leaves should not be removed until they dry down naturally.
