Viewers may have gotten the impression that the refinery may shut down from television news report, according to Miles Lacey, refinery manager. He said the company has no intention of closing the plant. The company does have a solid commitment to the Woods Cross refinery, Lacey said. Lacey said the refinery has been a very profitable operation for the large oil company. He said he doesnt believe the company will close the plant as long as it remains profitable.
