It is designed to bring high school students and teachers the inside story on business operations and our private enterprise system. That qualifies them to enter national competition in Ann Arbor, Mich., on May 27, and also gave them a cash prize of $1,000. . Jeanne McGuie, director of choral music at Viewmont, along with 48 seniors and 12 juniors in the Concert Choir, Viewmont BOUNTIFUL High School Modern Dance Company, winner of several awards in last years Modern Dance Scholarship Invitational, will be host for the 1983 invitational. Eleven schools throughout the state will vie for the honors ; Saturday, March 12, at 7:30. in Viewmont High Au-- i the .p.m. ;ditorium. Cost at the door will ;be $2 general admission and ithose five years of age and under will get in free. Carlynn Hirlacker, student in ; the dance company, explained will be flying to Ann Arbor with six parents. Ms. McGuire said that they are trying to find sponsors because the students have to pay their own way and there is not much time for them to raise that much money. With Cydney Staples at the piano, the choir will be singing 12 minutes of songs including All My Trials, a little waltz by Brahms, Eyes of All Wait Upon Thee, and a rhythmic, joyful clapping song for a finish. You are timed with a stop-- , watch and if you go over 12 minutes they penalize you five points for every portion of a minute that you go over, explained Ms. McGuire.
