Mr. and Mrs. LeRoi Day spent Memorial Day weekend in Soda Springs, Ida. with their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Davis. Miss Debra Ann Thompson returned home from serving her mission in the Canada Halifax Mission May 25. She gave her mission report May 30 in the Fruit Heights First Ward. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard F. Thompson. Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Johnson attended the Barbershop Concert at the Capitol Theater in Salt Lake City Thursday evening. Mr. Johnson sings in a quartet tht performed during the concert. Later they attended the wedding of a niece, Sheri Lyn Tuula also lived with the Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Nielson family for a short time. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Duckworth have received a mission call to the Washington Spokane Mission. They are members of the Kaysville Second Ward and will enter the MTC July 14. Mrs. Mina Ward of Riverside, Ut., who is 97 years old, is making her home with her son, Paul and Beverly Ward. Tim Matthews, Bruce Wil- lard and Darrin Bingham will be leaving on June 5 for Hawaii where they will be employed on the Island of Mauri picking pineapple for the summer months. They will arrive home August 30. Fullmer and Scott Roderrick held in Salt Lake City. Miss Jill Holbrook, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben F. Holbrook, will leave June 8 for London, England to meet her friend, Toni Beckstrom, who is returning from a stay in Israel. The girls will meet June 9 and tour Europe for a month before returning home. They will visit with former exchange students who stayed in their homes while attending Davis High School. Endre Stiansen of Norway was with the Kent Beckstrom family and Leif Detter stayed with the Ben Holbrook family. He is from Sweden. Endre is with the military in Brussels and they will visit him there and visit with his family in Norway. Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Morgan and family; Mr. and Mrs. Kent Beckstrom and family DEAN S. The Immonens arrived to visit with the Bowman family for a few weeks. They are the parents of Tuulo Immonen who has been at Davis High School the past year on a Rotary exchange program and making her home with the Bowman family.
