Show Tracy J. Smith claims Rosemarie Nelson in double-ring wedding in Juno 17 rites Tracy J. Smith claimed Rosemarie Rose-marie Nelson as his bride in a ceremony performed at the Henderson (Nev.) Fourth Ward chapel on June 17, 1972. Officiating Offi-ciating in the double-ringe rites was Bishop Earl Walker of the Henderson Fourth Ward cultural hall. The new Mrs. Smith is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jcr-ald Jcr-ald Nelson of Henderson. Mr. and Mrs. Glade E. Smith of Parowan are parents of the bridegroom. Mrs. Clara Benson Ben-son is grandmother of the bride. The newlyweds were feted at a dinner given in their honor by Mr. and Mrs. Smith at Sambo's Restaurant in Las Vegas, Nev . Many out-of-out-of-town guests were also present at this dinner. A reception was given in their honor immediately following fol-lowing the wedding ceremony in the Henderson Fourth Ward The bride was lovely in a floor-length, gown of lace, with lace sleeves and satin body trimmed with lace and tiny white pearls. Her bridal bouquet consisted of pink roses and nurDle ribbon trim- med in lace and was in the shape of a heart. The bridesmaids were Sher-rie Sher-rie Sherman, Lori Hensen, Melanie Smith and Sally Nelson Nel-son and flower girls were petite pe-tite Stephanie Condor and To-ni To-ni Bell. Ushers were Julian Rollins, Lee Abbott, David Nelson and Phillip Nelson. Best man duties dut-ies were performed by Frank Ford, a cousin of the bridegroom, bride-groom, from Upland, Calif. Maid of honor was Tereso Adams. Ring bearer was Richard Rich-ard Nelson. For the occasion the mother of the bride wore a purple i lace sheath gown, floor length. Motner or the bridegroom wore a lovely floor-length gown of whipped cream material. The newlyweds spent a short honeymoon at the International Inter-national Hotel in Las Vegas, and are now making their home in Parowan Where Tracy is employed by the State Dept. of Highways. The new Mrs. Smith has been attending Basic Ba-sic High School in Hehdorson, and plans on completing her schooling at Parowan High School The bridegroom graduated grad-uated from Parowan high last year. |
