Show Miss Rollo Becomes July Bride In Wedding Ceremony In Impressive rites Saturday evening, July 14. In the Cedar First Ward Relief Society rooms Miss Yvonne Rollo and Theodore J. Atherley, Jr., Fpoke vows that united them in marriage. Bishop Homer Jones of the Fifth Ward officiated at the rites before a group of selected friends and relatives of the couple. Mrs. Ezra Rollo is the mother moth-er of the lovely bride. The bride-groom bride-groom Is a son of Mr. and Mr. Theodore Atherley, Sr., and all ' are of Cedar City. After the ceremony the newly, weds were honored at a reception recep-tion given by the bride's mother. moth-er. Greeting guests the new Mrs. Atherley wore a pink gown of nylon net and lace trimmed with seed pearls. The gown was of ballartna length and she carried a colorful bouquet of white ste-phonitis ste-phonitis and pink elf roses. Assisting the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. Virgil Smith and standing as best man was Norman Atherley. brother of the bridegroom. Assisting at the reception were Miss Sharon Atherley, Mrs. Gwy-en Gwy-en Ray. Miss Thelma Leigh and Miss Janet Rollo In the gift room; Mrs. Ruel Rollo, Mrs. Ray Middlesworth and Mrs. Waldlne Miles In the kitchen, with Mrs. Roberta Clark, Miss Bonnie Clark, Miss Guyla Ronenberg and Mrs. George Skougard, serving. The couple honeymooned for a brief period in Salt Lake City, returning to Cedar City to make n home. The new Mrs. Atherley is a graduate of the Cedar City High School and has been employed in Cedar City for a number of years. Mr. Atherley attended College of Southern Utah after serving a tour of duty in the U. S. Air Force. He was promineni in athletics on the C S U cam pus. |
