Mr. and Mrs. Orion Sherratt cut wedding cake at reception in their honor held Friday at the Enoch Ward chapel. They were married July 26 at the St. George LDS Temple. She is the former Florene Richardson. I Florene Richardson Becomes Bride Newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Orion Sherratt were honored by friends, neighbors and relatives Friday evening at a reception held at the Enoch Ward church. The young couple exchanged vows In a double-ring ceremony at the St. George LDS Temple on Saturday, Satur-day, July 26. President Harold S. Snow officiated. The lovely bride, the former Florene Richardson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elton Richardson of Mi valley, received guests in a traditional wedding gown of imported im-ported French lace adorned withi pearls and sequins, her veil of fingertip length was caught to a crown of seed pearls and sequins. The long sleeves of the gown came to a point at the wrists. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John SherTatt also of Midvalley. Atending the bride was Helen Julander as matron of honor and Miss Mama Heap stood in the capacity of maid of honor. Bridesmaids Brides-maids were Zelma Munford, Eloa luriiaruMoii, Zola mat RicSiaiusuii and Mary and Vana Richardson were flower girls. Duties of the best man were performed by Cressel Sherratt, brother of the bridegroom. Also in the receiving line were parents par-ents and grandparents of both brine .:ui groom. The new Mrs. Sherratt is a graduate of the Cedar City High School and the College of Southern South-ern Utah in Cedar City. She has been prominent throughout the state for her 411 Club work for which she won national recognition recogni-tion and a scholarship in the field of farm safety. She was also al-so rewarded with a trip to Chicago Chica-go to compete In national competition compe-tition in that field. For the past year she has been employed at Zion Thoto, where she will continue con-tinue her work for the time being. be-ing. The bridegroom is a native of Cedar Valley where Is presently engaged in farming. He served five years In the US Army. He j completed a tour of duty in Ko- rea and spent most of his service time at Fort Bliss, Texas. While in the service he won several honors. The young couple will make their home in Midvalley. |
