Snow officiating in what was to be his final wedding ceremony in his capacity as president of the St. George Temple he performed the double-ring ceremony which united Miss Geraldine Stubbs of Parowan and Mr. Joseph Robinson Robin-son (Robin) Lamoreaux as man and wife, The marriage was solemnized sol-emnized there on Saturday, Mar. 30, in the presence of immediate members of both families. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy M. Stubbs of Parowan, and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Lamoreaux of Paragonah. That evening in the Parowan First-Second Ward recreation hall a reception was hosted by the parents of the bride, honor -intg the newly-married couple. For the event the bride chose a floor-length gown of white lace underscored with taffeta with a train. Her bridal veil of illusion was released from a crown of pearls and crystal. She carried a bouquet of enrnations and anotis surrounding peach colored orchids. Attending the bride was her sister-in-law, Mrs. Alan Stubbs, as matron of honor; her sister. Miss Annette Stubbs as maid of honor, and Miss Mina Lamoreaux, Lamor-eaux, Mrs. Robert Morgan, Miss Judy Foster, Miss Linda Rae Dal-ton Dal-ton and Mrs. James Robinson, as bridesmaids. They wore peach-colored peach-colored 2-piece suits with matching match-ing shoes and carried one single spray of lilies. Standing as in'si man was iiie brother of the brU'egroom, Duane Lamoreaux and his brother-in-law, Alan Stubbs, and Ralph Mortcnsen acted as ushers. For the event the bride's mother moth-er wore a beige colored slice th dress of hwy organza ovvr taffeta. taffe-ta. The mother of the bridcgr.ier.i wore a bldik sil! sheath ('rcss with a gold metallic tlirea.''. Both wore ptwh colored carnation carna-tion corsages. For her going away costume the bride chose a navy blue 2-piece 2-piece suit trimmed in white, an I white accessories. They loft Im mediately following the reception for a honeymoon trip to the Lake Tahoe area. Assisting at the refreshment table were Mrs. Florene Adams, Mrs. Claudia Foster, Mrs. Miriam Mir-iam Lister, Norene Reeves, Margaret Mar-garet Truman and Jackie Foster. Mrs. Gaytha Benson, Mrs. Joan j Mortcnsen, Mrs. Sonya Lamoreaux, Lamor-eaux, Mrs. Laura Adams and Mrs. Lyla Truman were in charge of , the gifts, with nieces and cousins of the bride and bridegroom assisting. as-sisting. After the guests were assembled assemb-led Bain Matheson acted as the toastmaster for the evening to announce a very entertaining program. The bride is a graduate of Parowan Par-owan High School where she was active in music and dramatics, drama-tics, served as Ramette vice president, pres-ident, was a member of the assembly as-sembly committee and a class officer and was a varsity cheerleader. cheer-leader.
