Show Mrs. Ella Hoi) oak's Mother Dies At Home In Parowan Mrs. Mary B. Pendleton, 85, lifelong life-long resident of Parowan, and mother of Mrs. Heber Holyoak of Cedar "City, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Hubert Jackson, Saturday Sat-urday morning, June 7, of infirmities infirm-ities incident to age. Funeral services were conducted In the Parowan West ward chapel Tuesday afternoon. after-noon. Mrs. Pondloton waa boiu in Parowan Paro-wan on February 3, 1863, and spent her entire life in that community On November 16, 1880, she married William W. Pendleton in the St. Oeorge L D S temple. Mr. Pendleton died on March 5, 1946. During her earlier life she was well known for her nursing activities activi-ties In Parowan, and was always active in church and civic affairs in the community. Surviving are seven sons and daughters, Mrs. Zella Orton, Mrs. Sarah Jackson, Wm. C. and Donald Pendleton, all of Parowan; Mrs. Clista Davis, South Gate, California; Califor-nia; Mrs. Ella Holyoak, Cedar City, and Mrs. Delia Nazer, St. Oeorge. Burial was made ln the Parowan city cemetery. |
