Gunn, second lieutenant. lieuten-ant. -4 The ninth annual charity ball of Colorado pioneers under the management manage-ment of the Ladies' Aid society, was one of the mos'i successful ever given by the society. Over 300 guests were entertained and old and young seemed equally to enjoy the occasion. The committee com-mittee on decoration deserves .prairu for the artistic manner in which their newspaper effects were disposed, and the ladies in costume were, many of them, quite original in their efforts. The ladies are considering a reception to be strictly limited to pioneers., during dur-ing the approaching holiday season, and a special matinee will be held on Monday afternoon at 1513 Welton street at 2 p. m., to perfect arrangements. .-$- V6I-V r.vr.tlv Knmo ..r.,.r-A last Thursday week at the residence of Mrs. John Dunne. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Calla-nan. Calla-nan. The parlors were prettily decorated decorat-ed with palms and American Beauty roses. A dainty repart was .'i?rved af-' ter the marriage. The bride, Miss Louise Lou-ise Dunne, is woll known in social circles cir-cles and among the musical fraternity. She has been the principal soprano in several of the Catholic churches in the city. The groom. Mr. Charles D. Mac-Master, Mac-Master, is a well known mining man in Boulder and Gilpin counties and Cripple Creek, where he is now interested. The bride's gown was of turquoise blue liberty lib-erty silk over satin. She carried a bouquet bou-quet of white roses. Miss Margaret Ford was the bridesmaid. Her dress was of blue organdie over slk. She carried pink roses. Mr. Harry J. Dunne, brother of the bride, attended the groom. The Philemon Club spent another pleasant evening at its usual monthlv dance at the Brown Hotel.
