Show Irish Peer Dead. The Earl of Lanesborough. a representative repre-sentative Irish peer, died on Tuesday morning at Lanesborough lodge, Bel-turbet. Bel-turbet. County Cavan. The deceased, who was the sixth earl, was 66 years of age. He was educated at Rugby, was a retired captain of the Royal navy, and a deputy lieutenant of the counties of Cavan and Fermanagh. The deceased is succeeded in the title by his eldest son, Lord Newtown Butler, a major in the Second battalion Coldstream guards. |
