The funeral of the late Daniel Boyle, for many years a highly respected resident re-sident of Butte, took place last Tuesday. Tues-day. Mr. Boyle died at the home of his sister. Mrs. Alice Brennan. 403 North Montana street, last Saturday. Besides the sister residing here, he leaves two sisters and a brother in Ireland and one sister and two .brothers in this country. Edward and James Brennan are his nephews, James Brennan being deputy county clerk and recorder. The funeral of Annie Tripp took place from the family residence, 412 East Park street, Monday morning at 10 o'clock, proceeding to the Sacred Heart church, where a high mass of requiem was celebrated The attendance attend-ance at the church and funeral was very large and the service of a most impressive character. The floral tributes trib-utes were numerous and beautiful. The deceased, who was 12 years of age. i was a pupil of Father Callahan's school and an especial favorite of the deceased ! clergyman. She died a couple of days after the clergyman, unaware that the latter had passed a.vay, it not being deemed advisable to tell her of Father Callahan's death. |
