The young man was oiling or repairing some machinery, when his clothing became entangled, and before be-fore help could reach him his body was madly mangled. Mrs. Maria Louisa Covington, 67 years of age, died at her home in Og-den Og-den from the shock of finding her son Joseph dying in the garage near the home from a self-inflicted wound. As soon as Mrs. Covington found her son lying in a pool of blood, she sank into unconsciousness, from which she did not recover.
