Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. $ Alice Glcdhill entertained twenty-five twenty-five of her little friends at a birthday birth-day party at Ihe home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and 'Mrs. Neplii Gledhill, Tuesday afternoon. It was the seventh sev-enth anniversary of Miss Alice and her young J'rioncls remembered her in a substantial way by presenting her with. many useful and valuable presents. A big dinner was enjoyed by the guests present. Miss Florence Hermansen entertained enter-tained twelve little friends at a Hallow Hal-low e'en party last Saturday night. Games and dancing and a good time were the features of the evening. One 'of the most delightful social events of the season was the Hallowe'en Hallow-e'en party given at the home of Miss Vera Edwards last Saturday even-'ng. even-'ng. The rooms were appropriately decorated with "goblins" and other "features" in keeping with the occasion. occa-sion. Shortly after midnight a real chicken dinner was' served to the following fol-lowing guests: Misses Leah Beauregard, Beaure-gard, Sylvia Williardson" Ledna Edwards Ed-wards and Vera Edwards and Messrs. C. T. Hoff, Sidney Baxter, Nelson Beal and J. A. Chrislensen. Miss Thelma 'Williardson was given giv-en a pleasant surprise at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph 'Williardson Thursday, when a number of her friends invaded the home. An evening even-ing of. cards, music and other diversions diver-sions was pleasantly spent. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. Mrs. Anna Robinson of Fayette has announced the marriage of her daughter, Miss Mamie, to Henry V. Roper, formerly of Rupert, . Idaho. The ceremony will be performed at the Manti temple ne:-;t Wednesday, November 12th, and in. the evening a wedding reception wifT' lie tendered the happy couple at the home of the bride's mother at Fayette. ' The Missionary Society of the Presbyterian church held its regular meeting last Tuesday. One of the features of the meeting was a pleasant pleas-ant surprise to Mrs. Clifford Childs, one of the members. It was Mrs. Childs' birthday and during the working period she was presented with a beautiful cup and saucer and other tokens of esteem. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. |
