Show H. W. CHERRY Publisher fltmd the leniency which has been shown the perpetrators In each case. ' In every one of the bomb explosions explo-sions it has been laboring men and women who were killed. And yet we find organized labor in Great Britain, in our own country 'and in Canada passing resolutuions 'and demanding that radical political prisoners be released and that the various governments recognize revolutionary revo-lutionary leaders in different parts of the world, all of whom if given power would overthrow every vestige of law, order and property rights in I the interest of organized lawlessness. We think we are safe in this country coun-try and that our industry and wealth is protected, when all the time was are allowing yellow journals, yellow politicians, individual destruuetion-ists destruuetion-ists and every breed of preachers of discontent to undermine our public consciousness with their appeals to (class hatred and revolution. A sound public consciousness is the rock foundation upon which our government gov-ernment is built. If we allow this to be undermined our whole governmental governmen-tal structure may crumble when we least expect it. In this presidential year, one of the imost important in our history, we witness less interest n the election than has ever before been manifested. The New York catastrophe may help, bring the people to their senses. |
