Show CENTERF1EB NEWS NOTES. Centerfield, Feb. 17. The new opera hoase was opened up lust night by a grand ball There was an immense im-mense crowd present and everyone had a most enjoyable time. Tho building is a beautiful brick structure and ivheu finished complete will be modern and. up-to-date in every respect. re-spect. The building is caitainly a credit to this place. Three more dances are billed for this week. The mu8ic is being furnished by Center-field Center-field Silver band. The school children wore to have been given a dance next Monday but owing to so much mud th3 dance has been postponed until some future date. Miss Emma Luud, primary teacher at the Lincoln school, who went to her home at Mt. Pleasant on a visit 'ast week, was taken ill and unable to return to her school work. Mrs. Chas. H. Embley is at Sterling Sterl-ing this week visiting with har daughter, Mrs. John Andersou. Mrs Anderson preseated her husband with a valentine iu the shape of fine baby boy last Sunday. Mr. and Mra Henry Christiansen are rejoicing over the arival of a fine baby boy at their home on the 13th inat. Mud ever) where and stormy every day. |
