Be It ordained by tho City Council of Salt Lako City, Utah: Section 1. That - said Council does hereby levy a tax and provldo for tho j assessment upon tho real property horo- lnaftor described abutting- on both sides of Fourth South street from the west side of West Temple street to tho west side of Second East street, and on both sides of State strcot from the south side of Fourth South street to tho north side of Seventh South street, in Paving- Districts Nos. 10 and 21, in Salt Lako City. Utah. I This tax Is loviod to defray tho ox-penso ox-penso of grading-, curbing- with concrete con-crete curbing- (edge of curb to bo reinforced with stool bars), and paving- with asphalt (asphalt pavement to bo ninety-two (92) feet, wide botweon curbs) said portions of said streets, and It Is hereby adjudged, determined ancL established that the grading, curbing curb-ing and paving of said streets will 1 r thereby benefit tho property abutting thereon, and hereinafter described to tho full amount of the estimated cost thereof. Said property is to bo assessed at an equal and uniform rato in accordance with tho linear foot frontago upon said ! portions of said streets. 1 Tho cost and expense of making said ! Improvement is estimated at eleven ($11.00) dollars per linear front foot, and tho tax hereby levied and to bo i assessed upon said property is eleven ($11.00) dollars per linear front foot abutting on said portions of said streets, and tho City Treasurer is here-l! here-l! by authorized and directed to assess I said property and to collect said tax in accordance with tho provisions of ! this ordinance for the purpose herein i mentioned. Tho property hereby assessed consists con-sists of tho following described lots and pieces of ground, to-wlt: Fronting on Fourth. South street: 1 All of lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, block 38; the west 305.25 feet of lot 5 and tho oast 318.0 feet of lot G, block 39; all of lots 5, C, 7 and 8, block 40; all of lots 1 and l 2, block 51; all of lots 1. 2, 3 and 4, f block 52; all of lots 1 and 2, block 53, plat "A," Salt Lako City survey. Frontine- on Stato street: 'i All of lots 4 and 5, block 20; all of li lots 1, G, 7 and 8, block 21; all of lots 1 H and 8, block 34; all of lots 2, 3, 4 and 1 5, block 35; all of lots 4 and 5, block j 38, and all of lots 1, G, 7 and 8, block 39, plat "A," Salt Lako City survey, abutting on said streots, as tho samo appear and aro shown upon tho off I- cial plats of said city. Tho total amount of said tax to be so lovled and collected at tho rate of oloven ($11.00) dollars por linear front foot is oighty-slx thousand sovon hun-drod hun-drod fifteen and 75-100 ($8G,715.75) dollars. Sec. 2. That said tax levied as afore-said afore-said upon said property shall become and bo delinquent as follows: Ono-tonth of tho total amount of said tax so levied shall become delinquent May 1, 190G; one-tenth thereof shall becomo delinquent November 1, 190G; ono-tonth thereof shall become dolin-quent dolin-quent May 1, 1907; one-tenth thereof ! shall becomo delinquent November 1, l' 1907; ono-tonth thereof shall becomo delinquent May 1. 1908; one-tonth thereof shall become delinquent No-vember No-vember 1. 1908; ono-tonth thereof shall becomo delinquent May 1-, 1909; ono- tenth thereof shall become delinquent j November 1, 1909; ono-tonth thereof Hi shall become delinquent May 1, 1910, H' and ono-tonth thereof shall become de- j linquont November 1, 1910. 1! Sec. 3.
