Show Local and Society Thorley and I and two small boys went to Salt Lake to have his eyes checked for his operation and Dorian came back with us. The Barton Smiths have the Lawrence Smiths here visiting with them. They had lots of films of relatives they had taken of the places they had been and showed. DAVIS BURROWS Mr. and Mrs. Jack Davis of Panguitch announce the marriage of their daughter, Connie, to Gale Lynn Burrows, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Burrows of Hatch. The young couple exchanged marriage vows on Friday, Nov. 4th. in Panguitch. A reception was held in the Social Hall that evening. Pamela Barney was maid of honor and Billy Burrows, was best man. Harry J. Gardner officiated for the program and Mrs. Grace Veater was in charge of the music. The newlyweds are making their home in Cedar City where Gal is attending CSU. TO WED Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Pollock of Tropic announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lorna, to Mervln Barnhurst, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Barnhurst of Hatch. The couple willt exchange wedding vows in the St. George Temple on November 12. A reception will be held on November 19 in the Tropic ward chapel at 8 p.m. Miss Pollock is a graduate of Bryce Valley High School. Mr. Barnhurst is a graduate of Panguitch High School, also has graduated from .Trade and Tech, has filled anJLDS Mission in the Great Lakes Mission, and has served two years in the Armed Forces. They will make their home in Cedar City while he attends the CSU. TWITCIIELL ADAIR Mr. and Mrs. Desmond Twit-chel of Cannonville announce the marriage of their daughter, Christine, to Ronald W. A-dair, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold S. Adair of Tropic. The wedding was solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple Nov. 4th, with President Arthur J. Barlocker officiating. Following the wedding" the bridal party was entertained at a dinner at the Sugar Loaf Cafe in St. George by the parents of the bridegroom. A reception honoring the couple was held Nov. 5th in the Tropic LDS Cultural "Center. Attending the couple were Mary Lou Nielson, matron of honor, Judy Chynoweth, Cheryl Twitchell, Renon Chynoweth, Deene Baugh, and Kathy Saunders, as bridesmaids. Larry Adah was best man. Bonnie Miles was in charge of the guest book, Judy Adair and Loretta Barton were in charge of the gift table. After a short honeymoon, the. young couple will make their home in Ogden, where Ronald will be stationed at Hill Air Force Base as an Air Traffic Control Specialist. |
