Show Local and Society FAREWELL TO BE HELD A farewell dinner and program will be held in honor of Supt. and Mrs. Louis Hallock of Bryce Canyon National Park on Nov. 16th at 7:00 p.m. at the Flying M Cafe. MERCHANT DUTTON The St. George LDS Temple was the setting for the marriage of Miss Kathleen Merchant and Homer R. Dutton on November. A wedding dinner was given afterwards at the home of his grandmother, M r s. Robert Woodbury in Hurricane. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Merchant of Richfield. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Marcie Dutton and the late J. Alfred Dutton. A reception was held Saturday evening at the Hatch Recreation Hall. Attending the bride were Mrs. Alyce Henderson as matron of honor, Mrs. Mary Ann Dutton and Miss Sara Ann Merchant. Debbie Sue Merchant was flower girl. Best man was Tom Talbot and brother Jay A. Dutton was usher. After the honeymoon trip the newlyweds will live In Cedar City where the groom will resume his studies at CSU. A large number of out of town relatives and friends and towns people attended the reception. Attending the reception and visiting at the home of Mrs. Marcie Dutton were the John "C. Merchant family of Richfield, Kathleen's uncle and aunt of Calif., Mrs. Robert Woodbury and Mrs. Cecil Dutton of Hurricane, the Mor-rell Neilsons of Elsinore, Mrs. Maynard Barney and sister Co-leen of Richfield. IPSEN LeFEVRE Ruth Anne Ipsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Ipsen of Malad, Idaho became the bride of Russell LeFevre, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie LeFevre of Tropic, on Nov. 4th in the Manti Temple. The newlyweds will make their home in Salt Lake, City where they are both employed. |
