Show AREA OBITUARIES McHenrie "Mack" Miller WASHINGTON-PANGUITCH - Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, McHenrie "Mack" Miller, passed away in his sleep, Mar. 30, 1999 at his home in Washington, Utah, at the age of 82. Mack was born Aug. 31, 1916 in Panguitch to Horace and Bergetta Henrie Miller. He married O'Rene Sudweeks, Apr. 21, 1939 in Spanish Span-ish Fork, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple, Feb. 19, 1941. He worked most of his life as a heavy equipment operator on road construction projects in various locations in Utah and surrounding states. He retired in 1979. He was an active member of the LDS Church, holding the office High Priest. Mack loved having his family near him. In recent years, he and O'Rene have spent winters in Washington, where he especially enjoyed serving as an ordinance worker in the St. George LDS Temple. He enjoyed the association associa-tion of friends, neighbors and family fam-ily in both Panguitch and Washington. Washing-ton. He always said he had the best of both worlds. He is survived by his wife, O'Rene of Washington; son, McSheridan (Bonnie) Miller of Tooele; daughters, Gaylene (Kent) Hammond of Washington and Helen (Ronald) Dalby of South Jordan; 12 grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents; par-ents; son, Preston J. Miller; brothers: broth-ers: Horace, France, and Kenneth Miller; sisters: Thelma Higbee, Getta Orton, and Nellie Miller. Funeral services were held Friday, Fri-day, Apr. 2 . in the Panguitch 3rd LDS Ward Chapel with Elder Wally Lee officiating. A family prayer was offered by I son McSheridan Miller, with prelude prel-ude and postlude music played by I Elaine Matthews and Pam Robin- I son. I The invocation was performed I by grandson Russ Dalby, followed I by a piano selection "Meditation" and tribute by Gaylene Hammond, a i Neal Baiter Pollock I RICHFIELD Neal .Baker I Pollock, 45, of Richfield, passed away Apr. 2, 1999, in Cedar City, after a long illness. He was born Mar. 1, 1954, in Panguitch to Guy and Vonda Lillie Baker Pollock. Neal married Sandra Kay Baldwin Bald-win , Sept. 10, 1976, in the Provo LDS Temple. They later divorced. Neal loved the mountains and did a lot of wood cutting. He also enjoyed sports and hunting. He was a member of the LDS Church where he held the office of Elder. Neal was involved and worked with the single adult program. He is survived by his children: Deeda Lyn Pollock, Kim Kay Pollock, Pol-lock, Jay Baker Pollock, Reeves Neal Pollock, all of Monroe; mother, Vonda Pollock, Richfield; brother, Stanley (Sherry) Pollock, of Wellsville; sister-in-law, Terrie Pollock, Sanger, Texas. He was preceded in death by father; fa-ther; brother, Steven Pollock. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Tues-day, Apr. 6, 1999,. in the Richfield 8th LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Lyle Larsen officiating. The family prayer was offered by Shawn S. Pollock, a nephew and prelude and postlude music was played by Rebecca R. Pollock, a niece. The invocation was offered by LaRell Baker, a cousin. A tribute was given by Stanley W. Pollock, a brother and Tim Gates sang a song. Tributes were given by Helen Dalby, a daughter, and LeAnn Austin, Aus-tin, a granddaughter. A vocal selection "I Lived In Heaven" and "Families Can Be Together To-gether Forever" were sung by greatgrandchildren great-grandchildren and Kaylin Roundy, accompanied by Tamara Lowry, a granddaughter. Speakers who followed were Kent Hammond, a son-in-law and Ron Dalby, a son-in-law, followed by remarks by Elder Wally Lee and a vocal selection "Somewhere My Love" and "These Hands" by Than and Jimmy Cooper, accompanied by Kathleen Cooper. The benediction was offered by grandson Shawn Hammond. Pallbearers were Brian Miller, Russ Dalby, Steve Dalby, Brent Dalby, Shawn Hammond, Kory Hammond, Paul Lowry, Dave Jackson, Jack-son, Shon Edwards, Jeff Austin. ' Honorary pallbearers were Elder Lance Hammond, Max Weathers, and Earl Sudweeks. Dedication of the grave was performed per-formed by Brian Miller, a grandson. Compassionate services were provided by Panguitch 3rd and Washington 5th Ward Relief Society Soci-ety Sisters. Funeral directors: Neal S. Ma-gleby Ma-gleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield. ' : t ' i s Neal Pollock Margaret Jorgensen sang "How Great Thou Art," accompanied by Greg Jorgensen. The benediction was offered by Deeda L. Pollock, a daughter. Pallbearers were Jay B. Pollock, Reeves N. Pollock, Stanley W. Pollock, Shawn S. Pollock, Christopher Chris-topher A. Pollock, Timothy G. Pollock, R. Wilmer Baker, and LaRell Baker. Honorary pallbearers were Devlin G. Pollock, John Lamb, Jared Burnham, Ned Jorgensen, Terry Payne, Boston T. Lamb, Dan Anderson, and Gordon Fullmer. Burial was in the Escalante Cemetery on Tuesday.
