Show Terry Allen Kile, Sr. ESCALANTE Terry Allen Kile, Sr., age 54, passed away Apr. 20, 1998 at his home in Escalante. He was born on May 10, 1943 in Canton, Ohio to George and Emma Matilda Kile. Terry married Sandra Gray on Apr. 24, 1977 in California. Califor-nia. They were later divorced. Terry was best known as "dad" He gave good advice and always had kind words. Terry had a passion for driving truck and served in the U.S. Army. Terry is survived by his daughter daugh-ter Marcy (Mohr) Christensen of Cedar City and a son, Terry Allen Kile, Jr. of Escalante; two grandchildren, grand-children, three brothers: George Kile and Jack Kile of California and ' Arden Kile of Ohio; and one sister. ESCALANTE Neta Griffin Haycock, 82, of Escalante, died Apr. 28, 1998 in Panguitch. She was born Sept. 29, 1915 in Escalante Esca-lante to William Ernest and Clarice Heaps Griffin. She married James Stanley Haycock Aug. 11, 1934 in Panguitch. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt lake City LDS Temple June. 11, 1937. Neta was active in the LDS Church where she served in the ; Relief Society presidency, Primary '. presidency, and Young Womens presidency. She was a member of ; the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. ; Neta served for two years as the ; southern Utah area chairwoman for : the Utah School Lunch program. : She retired after 18 years with Gar-; Gar-; field County School District as lunch supervisor. She is survived by her husband, Escalante; children, Gordon and ; Almeda Haycock, Escalante; Doug ; and Barbara Haycock, Las Vegas, Nev.; Woodrow and Helen Haycock, Hay-cock, Taylorsville; Dawneta Dunham, Dun-ham, Tropic; Janice and Jack Rear-don, Rear-don, Cedar City; brothers LaVern and wife Mary Griffin, Escalante and Clem Griffin, Escalante; 20 grandchildren and 20 greatgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two great-great- 4 i Neta Haycock grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Beth Haycock; parents; brothers and sisters Dorothy Davis, Joseph Fielding, Elden Ernest Griffin Grif-fin and Lizzie Potter. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 2, 1998 at 1 p.m. in the Escalante 2nd Ward Chapel, where friends may call on Saturday morning from 1 1 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Escalante Cemetery.
