Show Funeral Services Held At Tropic And Cannonville For Two Accident Victims DOYLE GARY CLARK Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 14, 1971, for Doyle Gary Clark, 19, who died of Injuries suffered In an automobile accident three miles west of Escalante on October 9. He was born August 9, 1952 to Doyle Grant and Gloria Johnson Clark at Panguitch. He was employed by the Bureau of Land Management. A graduate of Bryce Valley High School, attended Dixie Junior College. He was a member of the L.D.S. Church. Surviving him are his parents; sisters, Melanie, Nancy, both Cannonville; Mrs. Ronall (Dean) Baugh) Tropic: Mrs. Fred (Tonya) Syrett, Ruby's Inn; Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Clark, Cannonville; stepgrandfather, Malben Johnson, Salt Lake City. , rne services were held in the Cannonville Ward Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop George Thompson conducting. Interment was in the Cannonville Cemetery under the direction of Neal S. Maeleby and Sons Mortuary, and dedication of the grave by Malben Johnson. ORLAN LAYNE RUESCH Funeral services were held In the Tropic Ward Chapel on October 13th for Orlan Layne Ruesch, 21, killed In an automobile accident October 9th, near Escalante. He was born December 27, 1949, in Grantsville, Utah to John Orlan and Ferriland Hatch Ruesch. He graduated from high school in Tucson, Arizona, where his family was living. At the time of his death he was home on leave prior to going to Viet Nam with the army. The past six months he had spent In Garmany. Survivors: parents, Bryce Canyon; brother John; sisters, Mrs. Frank (Peggy) Pitts, Kanab, Mrs. David L. (Geraldine) Rcnone, and Kimberly; sister, Mumford, Henderson, Nevada; Grandparents, Mrs. Ethel Hatch, Tropic: Mr. and Mrs. . Ho- M r M r . ward Ruesch, Springdale The services were conducted by Bishop Lowell J. Mecham at 1:00 p.m. Prayer in home, Howard Ruesch; Organ prelude and postlude.
