ANOTHER LOCAL CELEBRITY Christopher Haycock placed first at the Mountain West Market Ultimate Master Technician Challenge in Albuquerque, New Mexico on May 13lh. This event is sponsored by Ford Motor Company. Christopher is a mechanic at Parkway Ford in Cedar City and placed as one of the top five technicians in the thirteen western states in an online test to make the regional finals. The final competition was. held in Albuquerque where he competed in a ^ ^ | R P P ^ R ^ M —£?* *" ninety minute hands on exercise where he had to diagnosis and repair a vehicle. He was able to complete the exercise in 87 minutes to take first place, winning a nice trophy, gifts certificates and a cash award. He will compete in the National Finals in Dearborn, Michigan in June against 10 other regional winners.
