The Gold and Green Ball, a special social event, was held at the American Legion Hall Saturday evening, drawing a large crowd from all parts of the basin. Beautiful decorations decora-tions in the Spanish theme, LaPaLoma, lent charm to the dance as the younger set in their lovely gowns and masculine mascu-line attire presented their clever dances. Russell Gingell was master of ceremonies for the event. The theme song was presented by Clark Roberts and Stanley Johnson, a trumpet duet with Evelyn Roberts, accompanyist at the piano. The floor show under the direction direc-tion of Mr. and Mrs. Gareth Anderson was presented by members of the Myton Ward M.LA. under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Clayburn. The large audience voiced their appreciation for the two clever shows which furnished entertainment with their Spanish Span-ish dances.
