Show MUSIC FESTIVAL RATINGS LISTED Duchesne fs winners in the Uintah Basin Regional Six music featival have a number of excellent excel-lent ratings listed. The festival was held at Duchesne April 1, under the direction of E. Allan Bates, music instructor at the Duchesne High School. The rating sheets show excellent excel-lent ratings were merited by: Junior Band Double Quartet: Bobby Bob-by Bailey, George Jensen, Wen- aeii Moon, Jetlrey Oleave, Chuck Wilcken, Lee Moon, Max Wimmer. Drum accompanists accom-panists to the quartet - Paul Baum and Ralph Mecham. Woodwinds Quartet: Bruce Pea-tross, Pea-tross, Roger Pra ether, Lynn Poulson, Dennis Kofford. Brass Quartet: Ronald Taylor, Mike Bleazard, Mark Hansen, Lee Moon. Piano Solo: Marsha Fitzwater, Sally Wimmer. Vocal Solo: Sherry Roberts, Wendy Broadhead, Shauna Freeman. Free-man. Girls' Sextet: lone Hooper, Wendy Broadhead, Karla Lewis, Melna Horrocks, Serena Davies, Marigold Taylor. Eight-Piece Band: Very good rating, comprised of the Woodwinds Wood-winds and Brass quartets. Vocal Solo: Galen Hooper. Mixed Vocal Quartet: Louise Moon, Galen Hooper, Kenneth Farnsworth, Sally Wimmer. Girls1 Sextet: Rose Marie Huey, A dele Lewis, Joyce Moon, Sally Wimmar, Linda Wright, Sherry Roberts. Piano Sjplo: Julie Marett, Annette Ann-ette Marett, Adele Lewis, Melna Mel-na Hor-ocks, Adele Marett, lone Hooper, Laurel Hooper, Julie Hamilton, Valenna Moat, Kent Birch, Carolyn Wright. R a rings of the 24 entries of the Duchesne High School students stu-dents in the Festival were 80 percent excellent or very good, the rating sheets showed. |
