Show Hanna Area News by Tracy Roberts Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Merkley of Duchesne and Mr. and Mrs. . Bill Merkley of Price were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Defa and family Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Defa announce the arrival of a baby boy born in a Salt Lake hospital Friday, March 25th. The little one weighed 8 pounds 12 ounces Mother and baby are doing fine. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Defa visited visit-ed Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Merkley in Duchesne Saturday. Mr. Ben Chiarelli returned home Saturday after spending the winter in Phoenix, Arizona. He also visited his mother and sister in California before his return home. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith and Viola Defa went to Salt Lake Thursday where they visited visit-ed Mrs. Rosic Maraini. Mr. Roy Hackett went to Salt Lake Saturday where he visited Mrs. Lavar Pace and family and Barbara Hackett. Mrs. Cara Nelson of Sutton, Nebraska, is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Nelson and family for a couple of weeks. She is Tony's mother. Mr. and Mrs. Arylers Iorg and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Giles and baby of Salt Lake were visiting Mrs. Margarett Giles over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. James Giles took Larry Price back to Fort Carson Army Base in Colorado last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Defa and family, Mrs. Nettie Defa and Dovona went to Salt Lake Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lee and Cindy went to Salt like Wednesday, Wed-nesday, where they stayed overnight at the home of Mrs. Linda Kaiser. Connie consulted her doctor. They returned home Thursday. Mrs. June Roberts and family went to Salt Lake Friday Fri-day where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Dee Wilson and Roland Roberts, who is still in the hospital from his recent operation. oper-ation. Latest reports were that Roland is getting along fine. They had to put some tubes back in his lungs to drain the fluid. Mr. and Mrs. Art Fabrizio and Jane, Mrs. Myma Fabrizio and family went to Salt Lake Saturday on business, then on to Bountiful where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Neil Fabrizio and new baby. Tracy Roberts received a letter from Mrs. Vida Curry this week. She reports she is still on crutches and will have to wear her cast on her foot until the 1st part of May. And that her daughter Glenna Johnson John-son is slowly improving. She also asks me to thank her many friends here for both her and Glenna for the nice cards and letter she has received from them. Vida expects to go to Salt Lake this next week for a visit with her other children. We wish them both a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Fabrizio went to Salt Lake Saturday. They also visited Miss Tonv Fabrizio at Rrovo. Rex Fabrizio celebrated his 9th birthday with a party at his home. Those who attended were Larraine Hackett, Jill Fabrizio, Elaine Rhoades, Joy and Kerry Ellertson, Ervin Rhoades, Marva Williams, Jan Giles, Marsha and Marva Turnbow, Teresa Fabrizio, Bobby Smith and Wilma Webbc Refreshments were served. . |
