Kiwanians Needed FRUIT HEIGHTS - Kiwanis International, under the direction of Woodrow Hayward of the Kiwanis Club of Kaysville, is planning to build a Kiwanis Club in Fruit Heights. Pres. Hayward is desirous to complete this new service club and offer individuals in that community a chance to volunteer their time and efforts in building still a better community, a news release says. IN A recent council meeting held by Fruit Heights city officials the need for a service club was presented to members by Mr. Hayward and Chairman of New Club Build" Ben Adams of District. Fruit Heights Mayor Dean O. Brand, along with council members are supportive of a service club. It was expressed by Ben nJams that "as a Kiwanis we are challenged to share what we have experienced because we found it good-go- od for us as individuals and for our community. SINCE RELIGIOUS leaders have encouraged all individuals to volunteer some time and effort to community activities, it is felt a new club would help realize this effort. In order to expedite this new Club prospective members will be contacted by telephone during the first ten days of November to explain Kiwanis policies and asked to accept membership.
