Tyranasaupus Rex and Pteraddon are everyday words used by these bright youngsters. Its because they have been studying, learning, and building dinosaurs. The terrible lizards that lived on the earth long ago seem to fascinate children. They enjoy learning the types of dinosaurs and their size in comparison to the animals today. The cooperative effort of the children has resulted in the completion of a life sized baby Stegasaurus. With the help of the teachers aid Marilyn Aamott and parent volunteer Olive Layton. The children used paper mache to build the dinosaur together. Mack Brennen said, It was fun to learn about dinosaurs because there are so many different kinds. Brian Clay I liked Tyranasaurus Rex because he was the king of the dinosaurs. John Irvine said I liked our Stegosaurus because it has large boney plates on its back.
