Many local women attended the Associations of the Ws meeting last Wednesday night held at the Hillgate Terrace Recreation Hall. OTHER points brought out in the meeting were things ERA will not do. It can add nothing whatsoever to the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972. It will not help women in the field of credit. This has already been mandated by the Equal Credit Opportunity Act Mrs. Sally Krouth who explained the purpose of the Association. Mrs. Krouth told the group the Association of Ws stands for Woman Who Want to Be Women. THEIR main purpose is to stop the Equal Rights the other hand.
