It'll include completing com-pleting a survey that asks about everything ev-erything from eating and sleeping habits to how often you exercise. IN ADDITION, blood tests will be offered, with the total battery of tests and programs coming to $21--a bargain compared to what it would cost elsewhere, Mr. Neiger said, with that fee depending only on what areas a person wants to pursue. The program's revised from the old Healthy Utah that he said costs $4 more and meant only a $3 return to the county although local officials offi-cials had to do the marketing and registration. On top of that, only groups of 17 or more could participate partici-pate while now it'll be available for even single people. THE FEE schedule approved by the board of health includes: $8 for blood tests and health risk appraisal apprais-al of which $4.50 goes to the hospital hospit-al for analyzing those tests; $4 for stress management; $2 physical fitness, fit-ness, $2 nutrition or $3 with cooking cook-ing demonstration; $4 weight reduction re-duction and $2 smoking cessation. Previously, the state's program was offered to both county and school district employees, with payment coming through their insurance in-surance companies, Mr. Neiger said. It gained strong participation when introduced two years ago but fell off last year. "OUR MAJOR thurst is education," educa-tion," Mr. Neiger emphasized. "Behavior change is the key," with calls received from many residents resi-dents asking for such a program already received. In other business, the board heard a report on the influenza outbreak, out-break, told by Health Director Enrico En-rico Leopardi that Davis County followed a statewide trend that hit 26 states, starting here with a 33-year-old Bountiful woman.
