Last year the Darts had probably the best soccer player ever to put on a Dart uniform. "1 want to teach the younger players that we need to slick together as a team to get the win. Alexander wants to be satisfied with every game and personally she wants to score two goals a game. Needless to say we dont have superstars like Megan and Melanie, little did anybody realize is that we started seven sophomores in last years championship team." The Salt Lake Buzz baseball season came to an end last Saturday night in Edmonton Alberta. When Vance died last year this team dedicated the season to Callie. We still have Callie in out thoughts, explains Iverson, many of the players knew Callie and still feel the same way as they did last year. They just want to win. Offret states that as a lead she has an obligation to this team. We want to keep the same level of play that we had last year. Im not a Ra Ra type of leader, I want to lead more by example. Do what I do, not what I say. That is the way I want to teach the younger players to have the same type of desire and determination. Offrets goals for every game is to score and to have 30 goals for the season. Plain and simple, leading by example. According to Caldwell the region will be up for grabs. Bountiful is a great team this year, along with Viewmont and Skyline. We want to win the region this year, because we didnt win it last year. There will be some new names to come to tow n hoping to be a success on the field and with fans and eventually move up to the majors.
