Show Mary HawsPrahl LAYTON - Mary Haws Prahl, 7 94, of 1468 N. Gilman Drive, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 1989, at a Clearfield Clear-field nursing home of causes incident inci-dent to age. She was bom Aug. 3, 1894 in Pa-checo, Pa-checo, Chihuahua, Mexico, a. daughter of William Wallace and Martha Barrett Haws. She married William August Prahl Jan. 11. 1918 in Tiir.snn Douglas Prahl; musical medley, La Von Parker; remarks, Maria Fik-stad; Fik-stad; benediction, Troy Larsen. Dedication of the grave was by Richard Scott with interment in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ronald Scho-field, Scho-field, Robert Schofield, Dennis Schofield, Glenn Fikstad, Larry Fikstad and Douglas Prahl. " Ariz. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 1, 1962. She had lied in Mexico for 18 years and moved to Salt Lake City 5 inl912. She then moved to Tucson, Ariz., until 1918 then moved back to Salt Lake City in 1980. She had resided raTyl6irthe past eight ,! ,; years. -. ; ; . She was a member of the LDS Church where she had served as visiting teacher, Primary teacher and Relief Society teacher. She had been a nurses aide during dur-ing World War II at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City.
