Show Marketing j Potatoes J Farm Problem Potato growers of Cache County, met Tuesday evening to hear an explanation of the new setup on the potato marketing agreement.! W. W. Owens, assistant director ofj Extension Service, met with the growers at the office of county! agent R. L. Wrigley. It is proposed to include Utah,! Idaho and one county in Oregon! in one district. The marketing will be governed by a board of growers grow-ers and dealers selected by farmers farm-ers from these districts. The proposal pro-posal is that nothing less than U.S. No. 2 will be allowed to enter en-ter inter-state or foreign commerce. commer-ce. Cull potatoes may be sold in the state. "It will be possible to modify the quality and size requirement re-quirement or to suspend it in its entirety in order to meet peculiar local situations". Information explaining the marketing mar-keting agreement will be sent to potato growers of the county.
