Tin' following short but decisive document was gotten up hurriedly yesterday afternoon. It's object is bold and clear; the most purblind will catch its meaning mean-ing at a glance. It shows w here the business men, the tax-payers, the capitalists, and the brains of the town stand on the water works rpiestion. They uphold and su pport our City Council and roundly condemn the injudicious action of the so-called so-called '"Safety" Society. The number of names is limited, as many who would heartily endorse en-dorse the measure have gone to Conference and still more have not had ii chance to sign the paper. The list, greatly increased and mightily swelled, will be re-published in a future issue of Tiik Bum, Kit.
