Show The Ladi..' Ball. The Grand Leap-Year Ball to be given in th Opera House. Tuesday, Tues-day, January 5th, 1892, will, of course, be s pronounced success. When six of the liveliest, prettiest and sweetest girls in town take a matter in hand, do you have an idea it could result in anything but success? A few Coy words, skillfully dropped, will have the desired effect upon the "boys" of the City, and an interest will have been awakened which can only find rest in the proposed delightful climax the Grand Leap-Year Ball to be given Tuesday evening. January 5th, 1S92. This copy was poked under our door by an unfortunate love-sick bach, whose girl has a protracted case of mumps, but who is still desirous of "taking in" the ball, if some other kind-hearted lady will take compassion on him and his gloomy situation. He may be found every evening as the clock Btrikes eight, waiiing on the platform of Boothe & Peirce's store. Girls, take pity on him. Ed. |
