The school hopes to engage a librarian so these books may be used to best advantage. ,t j The parent teacher conference conducted last week was declar-- . ed highly successful with an unusually large number of fathers attending with mothers) of s.the students. The first mishap occured at 7:20 a.m. at the intersection of Second South and kfairi siieti. The report said that' truck driven Olson, 460 by Merlin Nielson West Fifth North, Logan, was struck while attempting a left turn1 Onto' Main street ffOrri Second South. Driver of the second sedan, was vehicle, a Stanley Fred Pierce, 355 East Third South. The Pierce auto was traveling north on Main at the time of the accident. Both drivers were cited toy Officer Ross Cobb for disregarding a stop and go light. ki "jit Damage to the car wa$ estimated at $300. The truck sustained approximately $50 damage. Second Accident Reported A second accident,,. involving two trucks was reported at 9;40 a m. The report stated that a 1955 model pickup .truck driven, by 664 Clarence B. Goldsberry, South Secon West, was headed South on Second West. A second truck driven by Melvin T. Kimp, 938 Belmar drive, Ogden, was traveling west ern Sixth South and crashed into the .Goldsberry vehicle as it passed through the intersection. Kimp was cited by Police Chief John I. Johnson for failure to yield the right of way1.
