Brown of 612 East Shamrock earned a doctorate degree in psychology. W. Rex Reeder of Helper, formerly of Brigham City, has earned a masters degree in human resource management. Mrs. Brown is presently employed as a psychologist with the Bear River Comprehensive Mental Health center. She is a 1963 graduate of Murray High school and received her bachelor of arts degree magna cum laude from the university in 1967 and her masters degree in 1972. She has had many honors, including honors at entrance scholarship, member of freshmen womens honorary, affiliated with Alpha Delta Pi, recipient of a U.S. Public Health Service fellowship in clinical psychology, National Rehabilitation Agency fellowship and a Western Interstate commission for Higher Education mental health fellowship. They are Elder Brad Norman of Corinne, Elder Jim Richard of Fielding and Elder Boyd Bingham of Honeyville. Brad Norman Elder Brad Norman will be honored at a homecoming at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Corinne Second ward. He recently re- turned from the California Arcadia mission. He had served as district leader the last three months in Rowland Heights area. Friends and relatives of the elder are invited to attend. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton H. Norman of Corinne. Reeder of 435 East Fifth North, Brigham City. He is married to the former Karen Johnson and they have four children. He received his bachelors degree from Utah State university in 1970. He is a 1962 graduate of Box Elder High school. He is presently employed with the Utah Department of Employment Security in Provo. The speaker will be Prof. LeGrande Davies of Brigham Young university. Professor Davies teaches Old Testament and Book of Mormon at BYU, and, for the past eight years, has spent his summers in Israel where he teaches archeology and supervises archeological excavations with Tel Aviv university. Davies has participated in the excavations of Megiddo and Tel Beersheba, and this summer will begin excavation of Tel Mikhal on the Israeli seacoast. Among the dozen languages he uses, Davies is one of only about six persons in the world who can read Hurrian. The Hurrians lived in the area of Lake Van in what is now eastern Turkey. Some of their custons, particularly their marriage laws, parallelled those under which Abraham and Isaac lived.
