Show John William Titcomb Dies John William Titcomb, born at West Jordan on the 14th of February 190t was electrocuted at the Utah-Apex Mine Friday evening last. Not returning return-ing from work' on the evening of the fatality his sister with whom he lived believed he was working overtime, over-time, but after he had been missing over night and it was found he had checked off shift at the office of the company and had not reported for work on Saturday morning, a search was instituted with the result his badly burned body was found underneath under-neath the ore bins, he evidently having hav-ing died instantaneously from electrocution. elec-trocution. Deceased had lived in Bingham Canyon Can-yon for two years and had been la the employ of the Utah-Apex Mining Min-ing company as carpenter for the past year. He was much respected by all his fellow employees and the boys with whom he mingled. He was married just eight days before he met his death having on the 10th of September married Miss Vada Peterson Peter-son of Gunnison, who is at the time of his death was visiting with her parents in that town . He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John F. Titcomb, who reside at American Fork, eight sisters including in-cluding Mrs. Florence Parker and Mrs. May Parker who reside in Bingham. Funeral services were held from the Americaan Fork L. D. S. Temple Tuesday. There were many beautiful floral tributes which completely com-pletely banked the casket. Deceased was eulogised in chosen language by heads of the L. D. S. Church and appropriate vocal selection were rendered. ren-dered. A number of his friends from Bingham attended to pay their last respects. |
