Show O. E. PARSONS HONORED AT RITES Funeral services were held Wednesday for Otto Edward Parsons, Par-sons, 79, of Salt Lake City, who died Sunday morning in a Salt Lake hospital of tuberculosis. Mr. Parsons was the father of Mrs. Aurora McKellar of Copperton. Cop-perton. Born January 22, 1869 in Kor-torp, Kor-torp, Sweden, he was a son of Per and Johanna Ericsson Johanson. Jo-hanson. Mr. Parsons came to the United States in 1888. Arriving in Utah in 1892 he was a miner in the Bingham area. He married Annie Sharlotte Carson June 11, 1896 in Salt Lake City. After her death he married Lois Nelson February 11, 1907, in Salt Lake City. Besides his widow, he is survived sur-vived by two daughters, Mrs. McKellar of Copperton; Mrs. jZora Burke, Whittier, Calif.; two sons, Ludvick Otto Parsons, Los Angeles, and Freeman A. Parsons, Par-sons, Dayton, Ohio; 13 grandchildren grandchil-dren and two great grandchildren. grandchild-ren. O |
