Show MARIA JANE HALL DIES AT AGE OF 84 YEARS Maria Jane Hall, age 84 years, passed away n Beaver, Tuesday, Oct. 18th. Mrs. Hall was born in Wales, great Britain, and emigrated to Ltah in the early days. She was married first to David Brand and raised two children from this union, a son and a daughter. The daughter, Mrs. E. J. Limb, survives her. Later she married James Orwin, and of this marriage there were three sons, who grew to manhood and were victims of the DeLa Mar dust. They were James, Levi and Philip. Her third marriage was to John W. Hall, who preceded her in death many years ago. From the last marriage mar-riage one son was bora, Wesley, who survives her and makes his home in Nevada. Mrs. Hall's mother, Margaret Vaughn, attained the ripe old age of 93 years and died in Beaver, after a residence here of more than half a century. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon, Bishop Wesley Farrer presiding. pre-siding. Ernest Shipp and daughter sang a duet, and Mrs. Hattie Ash-worth Ash-worth and Lamar Morgan, solos. The opening prayer was offered by John A. Smith and the benediction by George Bradshaw. The speakers were George Paice and J. F. Tolton. Press. |
