Show SERVICES HELD FOR JAMES NEILSON Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Monday in the Milford LDS Church for James Andrew An-drew Neilson, 76, who died Aug. 7 in a Riverside, Cal., hospital, of natural causes. The services, under direction of Bishop Richard Leon Jones, were as follows: Prayer at the mortuary, Bishop Bish-op Jones. Prelude and postlude music, Mrs. Edna Nichols. Invocation, J. W. Waite. Vocal duet, "The Old Rugged Cross,'" Mrs. Geraldine Kirk and Mrs. Bonnie Easton, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Myrtle Tribole. Obituary, James Williams. Vocal solo, "In the Garden," Lamar Lund, accompanied by Mrs. Tribole. Speaker, Richard Valentine. Benediction, Lamar Grjm-shaw. Grjm-shaw. The grave in Milford City Cemetery was dedicated by E. R. Jones. Pallbearers were James Jones, Henry Harirman, Mer-lyn Mer-lyn Olson, Lamar Grimshaw, Al Medley and Melvin Neilson. Flowers were cared for by, grandchildren of the deceased. Milford Post No. 16, The American Legion, conferred military honors. Mr. Neilson was born April 24, 1893, in Sandy, to Antone and Mary Anna Jensen Nejlson. He married Hazel Lee. They were divorced. He married Vina Jones, Aug. 9, 1947. He was a miner for 35 years. He was a veteran of World War I, and was a member of the LDS Church. Surviving are his widow; the following sons and daughters: James M. and Donald, both of Las Vegas; Mrs. Melvin (La-Von) (La-Von) Grey, Mrs. Larry (Mary) Carson, Moab; Mrs. Booth (Lola) Tournbough, Washington; Washing-ton; Mrs. Gino (Wanda) Chou-quor, Chou-quor, Panaca, Nev.; Mrs. Tony (Peggy) Rowe, Caliente; stepsons step-sons Dr. K. Richard Valentine, Riverside, Cal.; Virgil Valentine, Valen-tine, Idaho Falls, Ida.; Carlos Valentine, San Diego, Cal.; 34 grandchildren and 18 greatgrandchildren. |
