Show Services to Be Held Saturday for Fay Bradfield Fay Bradfield, 57, died at noon Wednesday in the Beaver County Hospital, of complications resulting result-ing from pulmonary congestion and a circulatory ailment. He had previously been treated for flebitis. Tuesday afternoon the Utah State Highway Patrol and the Milford Mil-ford City Police Department collaborated col-laborated to rush Red Cross blood to the Beaver County Hospital for transfusion to Mr. Bradfield, with highway patrolmen shuttling the blood to Fillmore where City Marshal Mar-shal Steeley met the patrol car md flew the blood to Milford in i Milford Airport plane belonging to Ben Briscoe, and Tuesday night and Thursday morning several 'ransfusions were made from local donors, but physicians and hospital personnel were unable to save Mr. Bradfield. Mr. Bradfield, a railroad engineer for the Union Pacific, had been prominent in Milford civic and railraod circles. He was a member of Milford Lodge No. 42, Independent Indepen-dent Order of Odd Fellows, and was president of Union Pacific Old , Timers Club 33, Milford. He had served one term on the Milford City Council. Mr. Bradfield was an ardent sportsman and member of the Milford Mil-ford Wildlife Protective Associa-. tion. He was born Jan. 22, 1902, in Minersville, to Thomas and Kalh-erine Kalh-erine Smith Bradfield. May 3, 1926, he married Lora Lynn in Los Angeles. They have two children, both of whom survive: Mrs. Doyle (De-'oros) (De-'oros) Hogland, Kansas City, Mo., and Thomas Fay Bradfield, Milford. Mil-ford. Also surviving are his widow, of Milford; his mother, of Milford; four grandchildren; two brothers, Kenenlh Bradfield, Milford, and Herman Bradfield, Page, Arizona; four sisters, Mrs. Gene (Mabel) Turner, and Mrs. Steve (Catherine) (Cather-ine) Inman, Milford; Mrs. A. J. (Prudence) Jensen, and Mrs. George (Rita) Frazier, Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be conducted conduct-ed at 2 p. m. Saturday in the Milford Mil-ford L D S Chapel. - Graveside services in the Milford Cemetery will be under direction of the Milford Odd Fellows Lodge. The family suggests that friends who wish to tender flowers send a contribution to the Milford Hospital Hos-pital Fund in lieu of the floral offerings. |
