Show FARMERS' ROUND-UP AT CEDAR CITY AgST Students Basket Ball, Dance, Debate, Play and Study Friday evening, January 26th, the Juniors entertained the Seniors and Freshmen College at a dancing party in the B. A. C. auditorium. B. A. C. basket ball boys played their first league game Wednesday evening. January 31. They won an easy victory, the score being 14 to 75. But the Kanab high school showed a great deal of grit and pluck. The Farmers' Round-up and Housekeepers' Conference to be held at the Branch Agricultural Colloge, beginning February 7 and closing February 14, promises to be a week of Inspiration, instruction and enter tainment. On the evening of January 27, a dance for the married folks and all those over twenty-five was given in the B. A. C. auditorium. A lively time was had by all presnt. Our second league basket ball game was played Friday evening, February 2, with Dixie. Dixie won, the score being 26 to 27, but our boys certainly put up a good fight. After the game all enjoyed a few hours of dancing in the auditorium. In our chapel January 30 we were favored by an excellent selection from the school orchestra. The remaining re-maining part of the chapel period was spent in practicing school yells and songs. Don't fail to read our last "Student." "Stu-dent." It was published by the Agricultural Ag-ricultural and Home Economics Clubs, and is well worth your time. Several sessions of both magistrate magis-trate and judicial court have beon held lately, showing that the B. A. C. is sti.ll supporting and enforcing her laws. Our debating students have been hard at work. The try-outs cama off in chapel, Tuesday, February 6. The Dramatic Club is busy on a new drama. Mr. Knudson and his chorus are working on an opera which they will present in the near future. Don't forget the round-up. Verda Esplin, Cedar City. |
