Of the 1,000,000 shares, 550,000 have been placed in the treasury. The board of directors consists of Allen T. San-ford, San-ford, president; Murray Schick, secretary; sec-retary; R. W. Brown, E. A. Ulrey and N. D. Swayze. War and rumors of war have not materially affected the tone of the market on the Salt Lake Stock & Mining Exchange. The general tone of the trading is good, and the exceptions, ex-ceptions, as a whole, were better, several stocks showing marked advances ad-vances over the prices at which they sold Saturday. Paloma, which has been largely traded in since the official report of recent satisfactory developments, moved up several points, selling at from 13 to 14 1-2, with a strong close. |
