Show BIG MERGER OF MIXES IX MINERAL RANGE I Reports of new ore disclosures in the Mineral mountain range of hills a few miles east of Black Rock and Milford stations continue to come up ; from the south, and consolidations i are among the interesting things reported re-ported on the streets. The latest on j merger is that the people back of the Antelope Star have quietly picked pick-ed up control of the Beaver Range mines, the property to the south. An idea advanced for this action is that both companies claim a certain valuable valu-able claim. One of the companies has had possession for some time, I while the other has started patenting patent-ing proceedings. People connected with both properties seem to think that some amicable arrangement would be a good thing, and probably avoid much expensixe and tangling litigation. There has been talk that the Jesse Knight, Keno and East Antelope may be brought into a big merger, taking in all the north end of the range. From the Knight offices at Provo, comes the word that there is an interesting in-teresting new ore disclosure at the Keno. At a depth of fifty feet the shaft entered eighteen inches of galena ga-lena with copper stain. The South Antelope is arranging to start a force of men out on a new contract of driving a tunnel on the recently selected site. It is in 35 feet under ground Manager Livsey says. It should reach a cross-Assure in the next fifty to seventy-five feet. Albert Hagen and C. V. Malmberg have the contract. Good mineralization mineraliza-tion is reported along this fissure. The Cove will start up in the spring. The Antelope Star continues to push operations in the large deposit of lead ore being opened by several shafts and adits. Superintendent McLease of the East Antelope writes that the ore continues encouraging in the southwest south-west drift. More than two feet of ore is reported. James Shales, an Idaho miner, is developing a property that he has located recently between the Beaver Range mines and the Old Crater. Other activities are reported |
