Show School Notes. (By School Correspondent) HIGH SCHOOL The high school furniture, books, maps, etc., have been moved from the Forbes to Science Hall where more room for resitations nnd study periods is provided. The students will give nn oi onintf evening in tho near future. Members from tho first and second year English classics classes gave the program Friday evening. Mrs Calvin Chilton of New York will give n dramatic entertainment in the Opeara House next Wednesday evening even-ing under our auspices. FORBES. About the only thing the students had to say this week was, "Oh! But wo miss the High School from above." Still there arc always those who have a different sentiment namely Mr Hall's school. They find it much moro congenial con-genial to be with the rest of tho family The children have already begun their Xmas decorations, realizing that there are only two short weeks before the Xmas holidays begin. Room II motto-"more light on the subject." Eighth grade held n debato Friday the question discussed wan:- "Which would you have been, Federalist or Antl federalist?" They also wish to remind the public that Friday 14th Is their 'Friday night" and that they have prepared an excellent program. HARRINGTON Tho Beginners arc all ready prcpar-their prcpar-their Christmas gifts. Their attending attend-ing ancc has been very good. Miss Owen's room has been busy this week making Christmas bells for decorations. The pupils of Mrs McCarty'a room have been learning Christmas poems. In Misa Hindiey's room they have been painting pictures of winter. There nrc now enrolled in Miss Or-inond's Or-inond's room seventy-four pupils. Tho rooms nre being nicely decorated for Christmas. Several of the parents toiled tho school last Wednesday. Miss Ilolmnn and Miss Peterson arc making Christmas decorations in their respective third grades. Their rooms presented very interesting Thanksglv-programs. Thanksglv-programs. Miss Holman visited in halt uiiko during the holidays and Miss Peterson Pet-erson at Ephraim. |
