Calvin at the Bidwell home on Fifth East street in compliment com-pliment to Miss Mildred Peet of Kansas City, guest of Miss Marjorfe Howard, v.-ho will leave with Miss Howard and Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Howard today for Honolulu. j The house was decorated in delicate Ophelia roses in flesh tints, combined with fragrant freesias. A low bowl of the roses and freesias formed the central decoration ; of the tta table. i Taking turns at the tea table were Mrs. ! George X. Lawrence. Mrs. Henry Catrow and Mrs. George Harris Smith. Assisting Assist-ing in serving were Miss Marjorie Howard How-ard and Miss Adelaide .Woodruff. ' Twenty guests were entertained at i hrldse, with a few others in for tea. y Spirit of Liberty chapter. Daughters of the American Revolution, held its regular monthly meeting at the home of Mrs. M. K. Parsons in the Bransford apartments yesterday afternoon. Mrs. L. H. Stohr was the assisting hostess. Contributions in the way of old silver and oid jewelry to he sold as a fund for the new chapter house were received. The i ida is to sell the old bits of gold and j silver and use the money to help out the i fund. The collection is known as the "melting pot." A musi'-al programme included a violin solo by Mrs. O. V. La wry, a vocal solo by Miss Inez KUlott and piano selections by Mrs. A. H. Feabody, Mrs. David Wegg and Mrs-. Sterling J. Snow. Assisting In serving tea were Miss Helen Hanna. Miss Josephine Wallace and Mrs. Sterling J. Snow. Mr. and Mrs. Anson Kesler entertained at cards last night at their home. 5oS "West North Tempie street, in honor of Mr. and Mis.
