To prepare the cream-jelly cream-jelly at home, just dissolve 1 ounce almozoin almo-zoin (get from druggist), in A pint cold water and add 2 teaspoonfuhs glycerine. To remove wrinkles, massage a little of the cream-jelly lengthwise of the creases. The starved tissues respond to this treatment treat-ment and assume their correct proportions, propor-tions, tiien the skin will be smooth and wrinkleless. The almozoin cream-jelly is especially good to cleanse the skin of pimples and blackheads. B. X. Ij. : I have found a splendid' spring tonic and regulator which can be made at little cost by putting 1 ounce kardene (from druggist), InLo i pint alcohol alco-hol and 5 cupful sugar, then pouring hot water in to make a quart. Take of this 1 tablespoonful 3 times each day. Stomach Stom-ach upsets, deranged liver, clogged kidneys kid-neys and blood disorders yield quickly to the kardene treatment, and for restoring health and energy it is not surpassed. Elsie: You can make that cleansing, invigorating shampoo mixture mentioned in last issue by dissolving a teaspoonful canthrox in a cup of hot water. This rubs up into a white, thick lather that soothes and cleanses the scalp, and rinsing rins-ing removes all dust, dandruff and excess oil. After a canthrox shampoo the hair dries quickly and evenly and is ever so soft, fluffy and easy to do up. Your shampoos with canthrox will promote hair-health and hair-beauty and encourage encour-age a thick, beautiful growth. Lois: This Is my recipe for a valuable skin lotion: In A pint hot water or witch hazel dissolve 4 , ounces spurmax, which you can get at any drug store, then add 2 teaspoonfuls glycerine. Apply to face, nek and arms and rub lightly until dry. This clears the skin of pimples, black- heads and discolorations and restores the rosy tint of healthy maidenhood. This j lotion is invisible when on and gives an I added touch of loveliness to the dafntiest ! complexion. It Is particularly fine for banishing the oily, sallow, "muddy" appearance. ap-pearance. Mrs. G. E. S. : To make your too-fat figure round and just right, dissolve 4 ounces of parnotis (from drug store) in li pints hot water. When cool, strain and take a tablespoonful at meal time. This is a rational, harmless treatment and gently dissolves the fat without leaving leav-ing the skin wrinkled or the flesh flabby. The parnotis treatment acts differently from others, inasmuch as It restores the graceful lines to the figure and when the weight is sufficiently reduced the treatment can be discontinued. J. O.: Try the crystos eye tonic I have frequently mentioned in these columns and I am certain you will obtain prompt relief from your sore, watery eyes. To make the tonic at home, simply dissolve 1 ounce crystos in a pint of clear water. Two or three drops should be put in each eye a few times eacli day until permanent perma-nent relief is had. The crystos tonic Is especially fine for tired, aching muscles and for granulated lids. Its use will give to dull eyes a delightful sparkle and expression. ex-pression. Flo: For a good hair tonic, I put 1 ounce quinzoin (your druggist keeps it), into i pint alcohol, then add J pint water .and you will have a pint of the very best tonic for hair and scalp at little cost. The quinzoin tonic almost Instantly relieves the burning, itching sensation and soon corrects unnatural conditions so that you will not be bothered with profuse dandruff dand-ruff or excess oil. Discolored, streaky, brittle hair is soon restored to its natura'l. even color and softness with the aid of this tonic, and its use is a positive benefit bene-fit to the growth of the hair.
